Registration & Curriculum

Registration is included with the curriculum fee. Each student will receive a pattern book along with all individual patterns required for class. The fee for each new pattern book and pattern set is $65.

Tuition

Tuition is due during the first week of class. Classes are $40 per week and are often scheduled in eight-week increments; however, schedules may vary. Please email for specific class dates and session information.

Refunds, Make-Ups, Credits & Sick Days

Refunds, make-ups, credits, or sick day accommodations are not provided for missed or unused classes.

If the instructor must cancel a class, a make-up class may be offered or tuition may be prorated if the number of classes falls below the guaranteed four classes per month, such as during the winter holiday season (Thanksgiving and Christmas).

If a student chooses to leave the program, they may be placed on the waiting list for future enrollment; however, their current class placement will be offered to a student on the waiting list.

New Students

Any new student who has not previously taken classes or attended camps with the instructor is required to complete a one-hour private lesson before joining class. This introductory lesson is offered at the private lesson rate of $60 per hour.

Class Location

Classes are held at the DuPar home in Santa Barbara, CA.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Students should arrive no earlier than five minutes before class begins and should be picked up no later than five minutes after class ends. Please be respectful of our family’s time by adhering to scheduled drop-off and pick-up times.

Forms of Payment

Payment is accepted by cash, check, or Zelle. Zelle is preferred over Venmo.

Holidays & School Breaks

Classes follow the local school calendar. When school is not in session, sewing classes will not be held.

Classes are offered on a month-to-month basis. No classes will be held on the following holidays:

• Thanksgiving

• Christmas

• New Year’s
